This is a watercolour and pen and ink card I made for friends who have moved into a new house in Thailand. Elephants are very much part of the culture and way of life there, so I think she'll appreciate the humour behind the picture. I'm not sure if Thai elephants have tusks though!

Went mad and bought a sepia pen! Here are a few doodles of boxes to create a patchwork quilt effect. I saw an excellent exhibition of quilts in Limerick recently. It's utterly amazing to see the work that goes into them - all those teeny, weeny stitches! Sewing in a button is a major event in my life so I couldn't even begin to imagine sewing a kingsize quilt. I think I'm a 'big picture' person and the detail is best left to the experts. How about you?
